Mary Hattie Fleming Williams "Aunt Sis" was the first born
of Greene and Lucinda McDaniel Fleming. She married Lawrence
Williams. After moving from Abell Community they resided in
Cleveland, Arkansas for a while but most of their lives they lived in the
Hickory Hill Community, Morrilton, Arkansas. Aunt Sis was a
mid-wife. She would hook up her wagon, load up her small children
and drive for miles to help the sick and deliver babies. |
